Learn how to add a new violation. 



NOTE- Prior to adding violations there are several steps in the set up process that must be completed. CLICK HERE for more information. 


Add a New Violation


Violations can be added on two different pages. 


Manage Violations Page


Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Violations > Manage Violations 


Step 2. Select Add Violation from the Page Action dropdown menu.



Step 3. Use the Search filters to locate the correct Account to apply the violation. 


Step 4. Check the box on the left to select the correct account for the violation and then click the Select button.



Account Page


Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Find Account.


Step 2. Locate the correct Account using Search filters. 


Step 3. Click the Violations Tab.


Step 4. Click the Add Violation button. 



Step 5. Complete the fields in the Violation window. 


General Section


  • Association- This field will auto-populate based on the account selected.

 

  • Account- This field will auto-populate based on the account selected.


  • Show on Portal- Check this box so the violation will be visible on the Association Portal.


  • Description- Enter more details of the violation. 


  • Activity Status- Select the correct radio button status and enter a Close Date, if applicable.


  • Inspection Date- Enter the date of the inspection from the drop-down menu. 


  • Type- Select the correct Violation Type  from the drop-down menu. 


  • Sub-Type- Select the correct Violation Sub-Type (if applicable) from the drop-down menu. 


  • Location- Select the Location of the Violation (if applicable) from the drop-down menu. 


  • Set Next Step- Select the next step in the Violation process. 


  • Form Fields- Complete if Violation was a resident reported violation. Enter Resident request information in this field.


  • Compliance Date- This field will auto-populate based on days until the next action.


  • Compliance Action- Enter the action required to correct the violation, if applicable. 


  • Mobile Note- Inspectors can use this field to add a note for the property manager.


  • Mobile Note Expiration- Check this box if the Mobile Note should be set to expire.


  • Expire on- Enter an Expiration date for the Mobile Note. 


Hearing Section


This section is used to manage the Violation. 

Images


Use this section to upload images of the violation. 



Step 6. Click the Save button to finalize the violation.
