Use this page to add, view, edit and manage Tasks. 



Tasks are reminders of items that need to be completed by the User. Tasks can originate with the User as a type of reminder, or from an outside source. 


From this page, you can do the following:


Create a Task


Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Tasks > Manage Task.


Step 2. Select Add Task from the Page Actions drop down menu. 

Step 3. Complete the fields in the Task Window. 


  • Title- Enter a Title for the new Task. 

  • Assigned To- To assign the Task, select the correct User from the drop down menu. 

  • Association- Select the correct Association from the drop down menu. 

  • Account- Select the correct Account from the drop down menu. 

  • Status- Select a Status for the new Task from the drop down menu. 

NOTE- This can be edited to track changes in the Status of the Task.

  • Start Date- Select a Start Date from the drop down calendar. 

  • Due Date- Select a Due Date from the drop down calendar. 

  • Completion Date- When the Task is completed, select the Completion Date from the drop down calendar. 

  • Calendar Display as- From the drop down menu, select the way you want the Task Dates to appear on your calendar. 

  • Board Task- Check this box to make the task visible to Board members on the Board portal.

  • Board Meeting- Check to make the task visible on the association portal's public calendar. 

  • Type- Select the correct Task Type from the dropdown menu. CLICK HERE for more information on how to set up Task Types. 

  • Priority- Select a Priority setting from the dropdown menu.

  • % Complete- Select the percentage of completion from the dropdown menu. This can be edited to help track the Task through completion. 

  • Description- Enter additional information about the Task.

Recurrence Tab


To create a Recurring Task, check the Use Recurrence box and complete the additional fields to schedule the dates and number of recurrences. 


Step 4. Click the Save button to finalize, or the Save Add button to add additional Tasks.



Edit a Task


To edit a Task, click the Pencil icon to open the record. You will then be able to change Task information or update the status. When you have made your changes, click the Save button to finalize them. 




Reassign a Task


Reassigning a Task allows the User to move the Task to a different User for completion. For example, a Task to complete a reinspection of a Unit could be Reassigned to a member of the inspection crew. 


Step 1.  Navigate to Activities > Tasks > Manage Task.


Step 2. Use the Search filters to locate the Task or multiple Tasks that need to be reassigned. 


Step 3. Check the boxes on the right for all Tasks that need to be reassigned. 


NOTE- All selected tasks must be reassigned to the same User. If you need to assign Tasks to different Users, you will need to return to this screen for each User. 



Step 4. Select Mass Change from the Page Actions drop down menu. 

Step 5. Select the correct User from the drop down menu.

Step 6. Click the Save button to finalize.
