This page is used to customize the emails used in various internal system notifications. Notifications are automated system generated emails that are triggered by specific actions, or events. The email can be customized with a special message, signature, logo etc… to accommodate your needs, or those of a community. 



 Edit an Email Template


Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Communication > Notifications > Manage Email Template.

 

Step 2. Scroll to, or use the "Contains" search Filter to locate the email template you want to edit. 

  

Step 3. Click the "Create Template" hyperlink for the notification Email template you want to edit. 


 


Step 4. Complete the Template, as needed. 


  • MergeFields- This list includes all merge fields available to be used in the selected template.

  • Title- Enter a Title for the Template. 

  • Subject- Enter a Subject Title for the template, this will appear on the email subject line.

  • FromName- Enter a name to appear on the email, in the From field. This can be a friendly name that outside users will recognize. 

  • Default- Check if this template should be used as the default for this notification type. 

 

Step 5.  Click the Save button to finalize your changes.
