Activities > Communications > Notifications > Manage Email Notifications


Notifications are used within the system to provide automated emails to selected users when certain activities occur. Notifications are established when portions of the system (Violations, ARC, Work Orders, Delinquencies etc…) are set up. The Manage Email Notifications page allows you to add new notifications and edit or delete existing notifications in one location.

Add a New Notification


Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Communications > Notifications > Manage Email Notifications.


Step 2. Select Add Notification from the Page Actions menu.


Step 3. In the new window that appears, enter in the details for the new notification.


  • Setting Of - Use this dropdown to select the Setting of the notification you want to create.

NOTE- Depending on the choice you make, additional fields will vary.  Notification and Request Types that are already set up, will not be available in the drop down menus.   


  • Association - Select the correct Association from the drop down menu. 


NOTE- This dropdown only appears when the Setting Of field is either Association or ARC Plan Type. 


  • Notification - Use this dropdown to select the type of notification. 


  • Request Type/Pass Type/ARC Plan Type - This dropdown will contain the specific types associated with the action. 


  • Recipients - Check the boxes as needed, to receive the email notification for this activity.


  • Add Emails - Enter in any additional emails, if applicable, separated by a comma, for any other Users that need to receive the notification. 

Step 4. Click the Save button to finalize, or the Save Add button to add additional notifications. 



Editing a Notification


Step 1. Use the Search Filters to locate the Notification you want to edit. 


Step 2. Click the Pencil icon to open the record. 


Step 3. Make needed changes to the record. 


Step 4. Click the Save Add button to finalize the new notification.


 

Delete a Notification


Step 1. Use the Search Filters to locate the Notification you want to delete. 


Step 2. Click the icon to delete the record.
