Portals > Community Link > Manage Portals

A Community Portal is automatically created every time a new Association is added in uManage. The Portal is assigned a unique URL in this format; https://XXX9999.eunify.net

XXX - Is the Management Company’s initials

9999 - Is the Association Id

All portals utilize the eUnify.net domain, however, you can customize the subdomain or the full portal url.

To Customize the Sub-domain

Step 1. Navigate to Portals > Community Link > Manage Portals.

Step 2. Use the Search filters to locate the Portal you want to customize.

Step 3. Click the Community Code hyperlink.

Step 4. Enter the sub-domain in the Select the new community url field.

NOTE- The subdomain must be unique across all eUnify clients.

Step 5. Click the Save button to finalize.

Customize the full portal URL (Domain Forwarding)

You may also utilize an existing URL to reference the portal by setting up domain forwarding on the individual domain. This requires access to the domain console (for example Godaddy or Network Solutions).

EXAMPLE- Your association already owns the HappyValleyHoa.org domain and wishes to use www.happeyvalleyhoa.org as their portal address. The eUnify portal is currently set to happyvalleyhoa.eunify.net. When a user goes to www.happeyvalleyhoa.org their browser is automatically redirected to their eUnify portal at https://happyvalley.eunify.net.

Step 1. On the domain site, select the option to set up domain forwarding and forward the 'www' subdomain to https://happyvalleyhoa.eunify.net. You can also forward the domain to https://happyvalleyhoa.eunify.net.

NOTE- With Godaddy, the domain forwarding is located under the DNS Management:

Step 2. Click the ADD link to display a form where you specify the eUnify portal url:

Step 3. Click the Save button to finalize.

NOTE-  It may take a few minutes to several hours for the changes to take effect depending on your domain registrar.
