Administration > Import V2


Importing Vendors is a three step process that includes:


  • Importing Vendor information


  • Importing the Associations that use the Vendor


  • Importing 1099 balances




PART 1 Import Vendor Information


Step 1. Navigate to Administration > Import V2.  


Step 2. Select Vendors from the Entity Type drop-down menu. 



Step 3. This will open the Available Columns window listing ALL possible data fields for the selected Type. 



Step 4. Create an Excel Spreadsheet with the required fields. 


NOTES


  • Field names in BLUE are required for import. 


  • Exact field names must be used in the column headers on your spreadsheet.


  • To Download a Template with the necessary Column Headers for import, click the Download Template hyperlink.

Step 5. Once your spreadsheet is complete, and all data entered, click the Add Import button on the right to open the New Import Data window.


 


Step 5. Copy all the data on your spreadsheet, including the column headers and paste it into the window pictured below. 


Step 6. Click the Save button to begin the import process. 


NOTE- Depending on the amount of data, this process may take several minutes. 


Step 7.  Once the Import is complete, you will be alerted with the screen below. 


Step 8. If all information is imported correctly, there are no further steps. If any errors were reported, click here to Troubleshoot the errors. CLICK HERE for more information.




PART 2  Import Vendor Associations


Steps 1 - 7 Follow the same steps as above selecting Vendor Associations from the Choose Entity dropdown menu.


NOTE- The AssocationID can be found on the Association > Manage Association page.





PART 3  Import Additional 1099 Amounts


It's important to import beginning balances for your Vendors so that at year end, when 1099’s are created, that all money paid for the full year is reflected on the 1099.. 


Steps 1 - 7 Follow the same steps as above selecting Additional 1099 Amount from the Choose Entity dropdown menu.


NOTE- The AssocationID can be found on the Association > Manage Association page.
