Use this Tab to establish default parameters for Violations.
A Violation occurs when an Owner violates a guideline set forth on the Governing Documents for an Association. Violations may incur Fines or other corrective actions.
MA (Mobile App) Settings Section
Pins for inspected properties will turn gray to indicate that they have been recently inspected. Enter the number of days the pin will remain gray before converting to the default color. This helps other staff and Board members know which properties have been recently inspected, and therefore do not need attention.
Violation Fines Section
Use this Section to establish a schedule of fines for various violations or for escalating fines. This is a customizable schedule that can be used as needed by the Association to fit their needs.
Example 1- Escalating fine structure, such as $25 first month, $50 2nd month and $100 per month thereafter.
Example 2- Fines vary based on the Violation, such as, Landscaping Violations are $25, Trash and Debris is $50 and Architectural Violations are $100.
The various charges are entered into the schedule below and when the Fine is set up, the correct amount is selected from the drop down menu.
Resolution Days Section
Use this Section to establish a schedule for Resolution of the Violation for each stage in the process. For example, the initial Courtesy Notice may allow 30 Days to cure, but the 2nd Notice may only allow 15 Days.
Misc Section
The information entered below can be used in Violation Letters as a merge field to inform Owners of this information.
Violation Close Behavior Section
This section sets up what should happen when a Violation is Closed. The default option is simply to close the Violation, however if an Association requires additional steps, that can be set up by selecting Set Next Action to, and choosing the correct Action from the drop down menu.
Hearing Section

Use this section to establish which Users will receive notification when a Violation Discussion is Added or Updated.
