The built-in Text Editor is used to craft templates for eBlasts, Statements, Custom letters and more, and can be used in conjunction with merge fields to add information from eUnify to your communications. 


The text editor works like most other word processing programs. You can either type directly into the editor, or copy and paste from the program like Word. To learn more about creating a document in Word CLICK HERE.


To craft your document, or make changes within the Text Editor, you can use the following tools. 


Tools


 Binocular Icon- Use this tool to find and replace information. For example, you may use it to change the date from year to year while using the same template. 


 Undo and Redo- Use the counterclockwise tool to undo your last action, or the clockwise tool to redo an action you undid. 


 Cut, Copy and Paste - Use the Scissors icon to cut, the Double Paper icon to copy, and the Paper icon to paste. 


 Insert Image- Use this icon to add an image to your template. When you click the icon, the Image Manager will pop up. This will include images previously uploaded.  You can choose from one of those images, or click the Upload button to insert a new image from your computer. 



The right pane will display the image and tools at the top will allow you to resize the image to better fit your document.


 Insert Link- Use this icon to insert a hyperlink to another location. 


 Select All - Use this icon to select all text and images on the page. This allows the entire document to be quickly copied or deleted. 


 Text Effects- Use these icons to Bold, Italicize, Underline or Strikethrough text. 


 Align Text -  Use these icons to align text Left, Center, Right, Justify (spreads text evenly across the line) or Remove Alignment. 


 Indent/Outdent- Use these icons to Indent your text, or Outdent (remove Indent).


 Numbered/Bulleted - Use these icons to create a Numbered list, or a Bulleted list. 


 Font Edits- Use these icons to make changes to your font. Click the down arrow to change the size of the text, the color of the text, or the Font. 


 Table Options- Use these icons to insert a Table and make changes. 


Other Options


 Design Tab- The editor will default to this Tab. This is where you will design and edit the Template. 


 HTML Tab- Select this Tab to view the HTML for the document. 


 Preview- Select this Tab to see a preview of your document.


Resize Corner- To make the Editor Pane larger, click on the bottom right corner and drag to the size you need.
