Update multiple Account Notes simultaneously, using the Import feature. 


What to do when you need to enter the same note on dozens of accounts? For example, if the Board approves a waiver of small balances at a recent meeting. It’s time consuming to open each account, and easy to make errors. Thankfully, uManage has got you covered. Adding notes to multiple accounts is fast and efficient using the Import Data tool. 


Step 1. Navigate to Administrative > Import Data.

 

Step 2. Select Notes from the Entity Type dropdown menu.


  


Step 3. Create a spreadsheet with the following Headers and information. All items in bold blue must be included and Headers must be entered on the spreadsheet exactly as typed below. 

 


NOTE- Note Type is not required, however this is a helpful field when using Search filters. 


Step 4. Click the Add Import button on the right side. 


 


Step 5.  Copy all data in your spreadsheet, including headers, and paste it in the Import window. 

Step 6. Click the Save button to complete the import.
