Customizing your internal notifications is easy and allows your company to meet the needs of your Communities and customers. It only takes a few minutes to create notifications that meet your needs.
Notifications are internally generated emails sent to designated Users in response to activity in the system. For example, when a new ARC Request is submitted, the property manager and/or Board or Committee Members are notified so the request can be reviewed.
Step 1. Navigate to Activities > Communication > Notifications > Manage Email Template.
Step 2. Use the Contains filter to locate the Notification template you want to customize.
Step 3. Click the Create Template hyperlink.
Step 4. Complete the fields below.
Title- Enter a Title for the Template.
Subject- Enter the Subject line for the Email.
FromName- Enter the name all notification emails will be From.
Default- Check to make the new template the default for this notification.
Step 5. Select merge fields from those listed to include in the template. You can delete those you don’t need, insert them into text, rearrange and add formatting to them, as needed.
Step 6. Use the Text Editor to format your text and/or merge fields, and add images or files, as needed.
