Portal > Community Link > Copy Community Attributes


This page allows you to copy attributes from an existing Community Portal, to a different, or newly created portal. This helps expedite the process when you are setting up a new Association. 


Step 1. Navigate to Portal > Community Link > Copy Community Attributes.

 

Step 2. Complete the Copy Community Attributes window.


  • Copy- Check the boxes for all the attributes you want to copy over. 

    • Home Page Layout - This will copy the main page that all members see when they log into the portal. 

    • Member Settings- This will copy the default settings on the Member Page.

    • Site Color Scheme- This will copy the Color Scheme. 

    • Navigation Page Options- This copies Navigation Options such as scroll bar type and speed. 

    • Site Login Page- This copies the format and choices on the Login page. 

    • Application and Feature Titles- This copies the Applications available on the portal and Titles used. 

    • Site Features and Permissions- This copies over all the selected features and uses the same permissions. 

    • Custom Menu Items- This copies all custom menu items. 

    • Document Folder Structure- This copies the document folder structure used to house uploaded documents for the community. 

  • From- From the dropdown menu, select the Association that you want to copy. 

  • Limit changes to- Select a tier level from the dropdown menu. 

  • Into- Select the Association (s) to copy the setting to. 



Step 3. Click the Save button to finalize.



When the copy is complete you will receive the message below.
