With eUnifyPay, only verified bank accounts are allowed to make a payment.  This reduces the number of rejected eCheck payments due to incorrect bank account information.

When setting up a bank account, the owner can choose to manually verify the account information instead of connecting the bank account via online banking.  In this case, Stripe makes a micro-deposit into the owner's bank account and Stripe subsequently emails the owner a link to verify the micro-deposit.

Alternately, the bank account verification can be initiated directly from eUnifyPay.  Where the owner's account has a bank account payment method that is pending verification:

  1. A red message display at the top of the page informing them of the pending bank account verification
  2. A Verify button shows next to the bank account that needs to be verified.  Click this link to initiate the Stripe verification process.
  3. Once verified, the bank account will show in the payment method dropdown when making a one-time or recurring payment
