Portals > CommunityLink > Associate Master Accounts


Master Accounts can be used in uManage to create a single portal login for multiple Units, either within an Association, or across multiple Associations. This feature can be used to allow Owners, such as Builders, Property management companies, or owners of rental properties quick access to account information for all units. 


The Associate Master Accounts page enables Users to locate accounts that may need to be linked across multiple Associations. 



The Associate Accounts page locates matching accounts based on a variety of criteria:


  • Unit and Name- This option is helpful if multiple communities have the same Unit information. With the added “name” criteria, it eliminates these Units from the search. 

  • Unit Only- This option will locate all Portal accounts that use the same Unit number. This is useful if there are multiple owners, or owners and tenants with portal logins for a property unit. 

  • Name Only- This option locates all Portal accounts with the same account name. This is useful for Owners with multiple properties, Developers and property management companies. 

  • No matches- This option locates all Portal accounts in a community. This is useful for management companies


Associate Accounts


Step 1. Navigate to Portals > CommunityLink > Associate Master Accounts.


Step 2. Use the filters to locate the accounts you need to link. 


Step 3. Check the box for the group of accounts you want to associate together. 



Step 4. Select Process from the Page Action drop down menu.
