Q: Our statements aren't pulling the latest assessments. Why could this be?

A: First, check the Statement Batch to see which Date Range was used in the "Trans Date. Start" and "End" fields. If that is correct, ensure the Assessment Recurring Charge Post/Run Dates are also within that window.

A: Our Statements processed Via Email addresses on file but we wanted to go to them by paper. What may have caused this?

QThere is a setting within each Association on the "AR" tab for "Force eStatements" and if that is checked, the statements will be sent Via Email. Regardless of eStatement status.

Additionally, if that setting is not checked, the Statement Batch itself may have had the "Force" option selected when Publishing.

Q:  I need to set up an income statement that has only the Other Fund Type. I selected Fund Type “Other” for each of the GL accounts but the income statement only shows Income, not the Expense.  How do I fix this?

A: If "Show Current Results Through" is set to the Last Closed Period, the report will display information up to Last Closed Period, because September is the last closed period in uManage. If "Show Current Results Through" is set to the Current Period, the report will show information up to Current Month. If you would like to check all transactions with the "Other" fund type, you can use the Income Statement report and select "Other" funds in the parameters.

Q: Is there a report I can run to see NSF items?

A: The "Payments and Credits" report has a filter for the "NSF".

Q: Our cash receipt is missing the Bank Account. How do we get that added?

A: The bank account was not selected when the cash receipt was added. You can now deposit it from the Manage Deposit page by clicking Add Deposit and selecting the cash receipts that need to be deposited. This allows you to choose the bank account where the cash receipts will be deposited and also set the deposit date.

Q: We need to update the Amount of Assessments on our Recurring Charges. How should this be handled?

AIf you'd like to phase out your previous Recurring Charge (Due to changing the Trans Type or other factors), you could create a New Recurring Charge. If only the Amount information is being updated, you could update directly on the Charge itself.
