This means if the Portal members signed in using an External Source of Users internally are viewing the Invoices using the "Go To Site" functionality to access the member's login, it may prevent those details from being visible. The best method would be to sign in directly to the Portal URL to using the Board member's Username/Password to avoid the discrepancy.
